Why XM4 is still the starter rifle

XM4 unlocks with custom classes at level 4. It is in the best guns in BO6 list because it has no big hole. Close-to-mid is its job. AMES 85 still wins a long Ranked lane.

Core five attachments

Optic: Kepler Microflex. Thin frame. Easy track. Merlin Reflex is fine if you already like it.

Muzzle: suppressor. Stay off the minimap. Buffer Weight stock already kills recoil, so you do not need a compensator on the five-slot build.

Barrel: long barrel. Range goes up. XM4 velocity is already high, so skip Reinforced unless you specifically want the extra speed.

Rear grip: Ergonomic. ADS, slide-to-fire, dive-to-fire. That is the omnimovement grip.

Stock: Buffer Weight. This is the XM4 piece. Vertical and horizontal recoil both drop. ADS gets a little slower. Worth it.

Gunfighter extras

If you run Gunfighter, add Extended Mag I (30 to 45), Recoil Springs, and a vertical or Ranger foregrip. That is the full laser.

Quickdraw grip is the other handling option if Ergonomic already feels snappy enough. Combat stock is a movement swap if Buffer Weight makes you feel planted.

Do not chase CHF barrel for headshot multiplier. It does not beat a clean body TTK on this rifle.

What to pair with XM4

The best SMG BO6 pair is Jackal PDW. Gain-Twist barrel, Ranger foregrip, Ergonomic grip, Infiltrator stock. Use it when the map collapses into rooms.

Secondary pistol: GS45 is enough. Knife for movement. Concussion plus Semtex is a simple lethal/tactical pair. Trophy if you hold a hill.

Recon perks still help on small maps. Ghost if UAVs are constant. This class is a rifle, not a sniper.

Keeping the laser on target

XM4 still loses a stacked angle. ESP shows who is holding the lane before you peek. Aim FOV and a humanizer curve keep the Buffer Weight beam on a sliding target. Controls sit on Features.

Players who use warzone cheats in BR can still run this XM4 class in BO6 pubs. The overlay does not replace Buffer Weight stock. It makes the same laser easier to hold.

Is Buffer Weight stock required?

Yes if you want the easy laser. It is the XM4 recoil attachment. Until you unlock it, run a compensator and a foregrip.

Suppressor or compensator?

Suppressor on the five-slot build. Compensator if you skip Buffer Weight or you only play long lanes and do not care about the minimap ping.

Long barrel or reinforced barrel?

Long barrel for range. Reinforced if you want velocity too. Most 6v6 maps do not need both.

Can I use this in Warzone?
