Why MW3 guns still matter

MW3 weapons are still in the Warzone pool. They sit below BO7 rifles on pick rate. They still kill if you play their range and you already have them gold.

Level them for camos, MW3 pubs, and off-meta Warzone classes. Do not drop FG42 for an MCW just because a 2024 clip said so.

A best MW3 loadout still means a long gun plus a close gun. Same rule as every other year.

SVA 545, MCW, and Holger 556

SVA 545

SVA 545 is the MW3 AR people still grind. Fast TTK in mid-range. Hyperburst on the first shots. Recoil climbs. Build a suppressor, a precision barrel, a 60-round mag, and high-grain ammo.

Stay inside its range. Past that drop-off, a BO7 AR or a sniper wins the trade.

MCW

MCW is the stable MW3 laser. Slower TTK than SVA. Easier to hold a lane. Conversion kits exist if you want a different fire mode. Use it when you want less vertical bounce.

Holger 556

Holger 556 is the heavy MW3 AR. Range and control. Worse movement. Fine for open Warzone holds if you accept the ADS hit.

MW3 SMGs and a simple class

HRM-9 and Striker are the MW3 close guns that still feel okay. They are not CBRS-3. Use them in MW3 6v6 or to finish weapon levels.

A clean MW3 pair for Warzone: SVA 545 plus HRM-9. A safer pair: MCW plus a current BO7 SMG from the best SMG Warzone list.

Making an off-meta rifle usable

If you already use warzone cheats while you finish MW3 camos, keep the overlay on and still swap to FG42 for serious BR. The grind gun and the meta gun are not the same class.
